If nothing else about Annie were remarkable, she would still be remarkable for her ability to forgive and befriend beings that once tried to kill her. (Jeanne's redemption is still in process of course...)

Did Tom intentionally leave out Kat's outline and other lines in panels three and four?

Oh, so THAT'S what I've been doing wrong this whole time. Murderous rage =/= friendship.

As far as Jeanne goes, it's questionable whether she was actually able to control her actions as far as trying to kill her.

Did Tom intentionally leave out Kat's outline and other lines in panels three and four? I don't know. If it is, it's certainly a new effect, but it looks rather jagged.

Did Tom intentionally leave out Kat's outline and other lines in panels three and four? I'd say yes, to put the focus on Annie's expressions, rather than on Kat in the background.

When this chapter started, I was surprised Annie hadn't developed a habit of going barefoot. I'm happy I was wrong, not because I actually did kinda call it, but because Annie now has a believable quirk (if you can call it that) which goes perfectly well with her new personality [again, not sure if that's the right word (so tired)].

"I don't want to kill you" she says while sitting on a rooftop.
But all three of those people have ties to the forest... And now Kat owns a very strange pair of boots.
It's not always about what you want, Kat. Think of the choices you are trying to make on behalf of your boots.

Mmm. Bare feet on warm concrete on a sunny day, with a friend cozied up at your back. Now that's a pleasant way to spend an afternoon. ♥

Did Tom intentionally leave out Kat's outline and other lines in panels three and four? Wow. Tom's experimenting with hand-drawn Depth-of-field! I like this idea better than gaussian-blurring.

Khepi looks beautiful in some odd way! ... Well, all things Tom draws are beautiful, so I guess it is to be expected. I bet Khepi is nice.

Did Tom intentionally leave out Kat's outline and other lines in panels three and four? I see it as a way to emphasize that in 3 and 4 Annie muses aloud, and in 5 talks to Kat.

I hope this page doesn't reflect some sort of twisted foreshadowing. Still, interesting to ponder, what could possibly happen to drive Kat to what to harm Annie?

Did Tom intentionally leave out Kat's outline and other lines in panels three and four? I don't know, but... even if it was an experiment he needs to practice it more... It, unfortunately, does not look very professional

(Jeanne's redemption is still in process of course...) I imagine that's a very handy quality for a medium. After all, you're not going to be much good as a diplomat if you hold a grudge over every little thing.

I like this one. I too feel as though my best friends are those who wouldn't murder me, given the chance.

Kat likes Annie. That's why she's going to kill her last.

So I guess Annie isn't going to use "Reynardine" anymore?

Reynardine sounds a bit more formal than Renard, so I guess she could use it in that situation, or when he gets into trouble.

I've started calling my dog Reynardine. His name was previously Rey. It's cool because he's all white too xD

Reynardine sounds a bit more formal than Renard, so I guess she could use it in that situation, or when he gets into trouble. Reynardine was Surma's pet name for him, given as part of her ruse that she loved Rey. Now that Annie knows the whole story, it would be a bit awkward for her to use that name.
