So heart warming.
Edit: Also, good to see there is a bit of the old Annie left (the way she looks in the last panel). The only creepy thing is that the dark areas around her eyes make her look like Jack during his possessed stage.
Also, anyone know of a mythological people called the Anwyn? Or are they made up? The only thing I can find is that it is Welsh, meaning 'fair' or 'white'.

Haha @ Annie's vindictive expression out of getting to mention the tooth now.

P.S.: Rey still is big ol' softie)))
P.S.S.: Interesting who are Khepi and group called as "anwyn"?

Anwyn... Family name, maybe? Small enough group that Annie assumes Reynard will recognize a name without context, so probably not a type of creature or mythical being.

I never noticed this, but Annie never completed her homework or turned it in. >_> What kind of grades/marks did she end up with?
If she did poorly enough, she may no longer share classes with Kat.

Wouldn't that be something? A high school that actually tailors its curriculum to the interests and abilities of its students. I wouldn't worry too much about it. When I was Annie's age, they didn't let me pick any of my classes. I don't know if school in Britain is different; I'm all too aware of the deficiencies of the American public school system. Also, something tells me that Annie is probably not destined for a traditional university, so as long as she manages not to get thrown out of the Court, I doubt her grades matter much.

annie's right at home, considering she's never been in these quarters before... and surprising that rey is at liberty in annie's absence, considering how eager anya, eglamore et al are to restrain him... ah, well, one hopes that all will be revealed in the fulness of time! absolutely love the comic, tom.

I guess that clears that up.
Anwyn meaning "fair" could be a good lead. Reminds me of the "fair folk", referring to fairies or elves. Perhaps family of Mr Green Guy?

I dunno, as nice as it is that she's making up with Rey, it almost seems too easy. It's seeming like she's not going to suffer any lasting consequences for her actions in the last chapter.

Considering what we have learned here, I imagine Kat will be hurt by what she did, but will be understanding. However, considering she has spent some time in the forest, she will be treated with suspicion from the others (James, maybe the Donlans, possibly Andrew and Parley, and definitely the other students if they find out).

Ooh, little tidbits from her time in Gillitie. I'm looking forward to more of those, though noble brings up a really good point. We'll find out which faculty members or students have some genuine dislike of the Wood.

Here we go: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AnnwnSeems to refer to a place rather than a people. Namely the Welsh version of paradise. Connected to Mallt-y-nos through the spectral hounds Cwn Annwn.

well, on the one hand, Kat will probably be mad that Annie ditched her for the summer. On the other hand, Kat may well be a bit more understanding than a normal person would, as she knows that Annie grew up never leaving her home at the hospital, and might take it as her getting cold feet over going to a new country, ect. And since Rey put the homework book back, Kat wouldn't know that Annie was copying her work, so she wouldn't be mad about that, at least.

I knew the bind would do that. Also, speaking of Kat. I wonder when she's showin' up. I'm glad Rey and Annie aren't getting into another argument, at least I hope. That's the least we need.

Maybe the Anwyn are a tribe or clan of forest elves. Possibly the same people (maybe not the same tribe/clan) as the green guy from Jeannes time.

I wonder if everyone (Kat, Anja, etc.) knows why Annie wanted to escape to the forest in the first place.

The Anwyn might be the Cwn Anwyn the hounds of Arawn a Welsh Death god.
An despite what Lloyd Alexander's Chronicles of Prydain books say Arawn was a good god.

I wouldn't be surprised if Kat was very angry at Annie. Annie left without a warning, and even though she asked Jones to send her love -- eh, who knows if Jones even bothered; or if Kat would accept it second-hand.

Other people have got here before me, but I reckon Annie stayed with a family of elves, Anwyn meaning 'fair' or even 'very fair'.
I think Kat will be pretty understanding - after all, finding out you effectively killed your mother is as good a reason as any to want to get away. Oddly I think she'll be more annoyed at finding out Annie copied her homework.

Oddly I think she'll be more annoyed at finding out Annie copied her homework. If Annie chooses to tell her she was doing so in the first place. Reynardine put the book back after Annie left, most likely before Kat came back to her room. So how would she know? I doubt Rey told her.
