Well, I disagree with this. I don't think it really follows Annie's character, she seems too out of sorts.

I know, but she has been out of sorts before . . . www.gunnerkrigg.com/archive_page.php?comicID=180I reckon that she's good at dealing with people, but dealing with how people deal with people is a bit beyond her. Eloquence over social skills, or something like that.

Hahaha, that's hilarious. I just think she's not very good at making up excuses, or making up things in general. She does seem to be aware of her unsubtleness or whatever you want to call it, though.

That's... technically stage left.

Anyway, this page made me giggle. A lot, actually. For some reason her expression is just priceless.

I think that romance - even youthful, preteen, crush-style romance - is out of Annie's league. (Something tells me that we're never going to see Kat getting up and letting Annie and a boy spend a little time in the library alone together. Or maybe we will, if Kat's trying to engage in a bit of unsuccessful matchmaking.)

I found this comic to be very cute. The expression on Annie's face is simply hilarious and Kat in the last panel is quite adorable. I like it when she blushes

I suppose it's a bit unlike Annie...but I saw it as her just being sweet and helping out Kat. She's just not very good at it

Broadus kind of has my point, although I see what you meant, yeochild.
