When you've got a free moment...Cause, you know nothing bad happened last time they went down. Also, I really love how Tom made such a big quote bubble for Annie's interruption.

Looks like Parley's also figured out how her powers work.

Boy Annie just does not operate on that wavelength, huh.
Call me crazy but I have a sneaking suspicion she's not going to do very well with that sort of relationship, ever (at least if her dad is as big of a prick as I suspect he is).

This page made me giggle, I have to admit.
Edit: there were 5 things I found funny here. Five! In one page!

Is it only me but did Parley still get her kiss in this comic? She looks so pleased after she returns (and Andrew looks so shocked ;D)

About Parley's teleporting, I bet she needs Smitty to be around so he provides the order she needs to she can not only teleport at will but chose a destination as well.

I think Bip would have been a better thread title... ;D
And of course, Antimony isn't interested in 'that sort of thing'. She dealt with death from an extremely young age. She's probably thought that 'that sort of thing' is doomed. And given what she saw with Jeanne, it would only reinforce her mindset.
No matter how mature she may be, she's still only about 11-12, which is an incredibly impressionable age.

And she was happy because she finally did it right. Not that I don't want them to kiss, of course. I think Bip would have been a better thread title... ;D Man, everyone's a critic...

Okay... I gotta ask. What is the device that Annie mentions??? I am so lost on that one >>

I would assume that the device is the arrow used to kill nature boy, but since he was shot in the middle of the river, that would be quite hard to find, especially as Jeanne doesn't like people crossing the river.

Kat's facial expressions are the best. Going by Parley and Andrew's expressions in that last panel, I think it's safe to say that they kissed.

Okay... I gotta ask. What is the device that Annie mentions??? I am so lost on that one >> I thought of the arrow from Chapter 25, first appearing in 655. Steadman fires that arrow down into the gorge, after Jeanne had been lowered. It's likely this was the green light that she recently referred to, and the same light that struck and killed her elven friend. Seems the best candidate for the device referred to now.

About Parley's teleporting, I bet she needs Smitty to be around so he provides the order she needs to she can not only teleport at will but chose a destination as well. Jones suggested this, and it makes sense. Look how she embraces him in the last panel. She really does get it now.

Not to mention that in the Diego flashback it was actually referred to as the device.

Call me crazy but I have a sneaking suspicion she's not going to do very well with that sort of relationship, ever (at least if her dad is as big of a prick as I suspect he is). Ehhh... she might operate more on that wavelength than you suspect. Hints like her reaction to Mort and Reynardine's comment indicate that she's at least capable of perceiving such things. And she was interested enough Smitty and Parley's relationship before. Perhaps she is just still rather focused on the traumatizing event of nearly getting killed by a trapped spirit. It's her job, after all. Or maybe she's just tugging their rope.

Annie's mid-speech hesitation in her words to Reynardine *might* be interpreted as a sign that she's more susceptible to such things than she appears.
But I think that Annie does seem, at least most of the time, more focused on the big things going on at the Court (what its purpose is, Jeanne's plight, the tense relations with Gillitie Wood, etc.) than with, say, the students' relationships with each other.
