Little late tonight, but he's normally punctual to the second. Have fun in Spain Tom, and remember: Tequila is never as fun the day afterwards.
As for the comic, good to see Kat smiling again.

you know, I've been asking the same thing Annie's asking in the last panel.
and this can't be THE City Face, right? He was a fully grown pigeon who nearly got eaten by a pre-"Spring Heeled" Zimmy.
Oh crud, the time machine paradoxes are finally coming true....
EDIT: Also a time skip! What happened to the missing pages between 759 and 763? (Thanks, Edzepp)

But those city fairies were real, which means the Birmingham in the City Face comics was the real Birmingham and not Zimmy's personal Birmingham!
There are two possibilities here:
1. The City Face comics take place after Gunnerkrigg Court. Zimmy thus goes back to Birmingham and never gets better. PREDESTINATION THOU ART A CRUEL MISTRESS 2. City Face TRAVELS THROUGH TIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIME
Dear God, it's like Homestuck.

She thought of "City Face" while she was on the train... That doesn't really explain how she came up with it. It is a mystery.

There is no page 44, and pages 45 and 46 are swapped, so the numbers are technically already off. Plus the strips run during the first hiatus don't really count. I'd go ahead and consider this page number 763.

Third theory: City Face died between the City Face comics and now, and he has been reincarnated. Etheric influence caused Kat to give City Face his old name (hence why she is unable to give a good reason as to why she gave him that name). The end result of this storyline is that City Face will be able to have wacky adventures in the Court in the present day.

EDIT: Also a time skip! What happened to the missing pages between 759 and 763? (Thanks, Edzepp) The page numbers are based on the order Tom uploads the comics. So clearly this time Tom did some editing after the initial upload. This could be page order changes, an inserted page, or a reworked page. Monday's page is likely to be 161, unless tom edited several page in a row.

Maybe he is City Face Jr., thanks to City Face Sr.'s awesome dancing skills.
...or maybe every pigeon is city face...

It too did not occur to me until just now. Now don't get me started on Citibank. additionally: whoever said that Zimmy was 'cured' after spring-heeled? all the riveting drama where the world was in in jeopardy could have easily been past this point. it sure makes sense than time travelling pigeons. also additionally: they all look the same! to me they are all City Face. additionally additionally: man i could do with a nice cheese sandwich right now.

I figured he was City Face because pigeons are the 'face of the city', so to speak. You think of cities, you think of pigeons. I also figured all pigeons are called City Face. They probably find it less confusing.

IMO the "paradox" is easily enough explained by examining the author's notes on the City Face pages. The whole City Face storyline was a play within a play. At some point in the future, when City Face is grown, he, Zimmy, Gamma, and the Fairies will star in a play/movie about pigeons dancing.
IMO.

Hmmm... could be post- Spring Heeled, considering that Gamma corrects her behaviour more readily than before. ;D City Face died between the City Face comics and now, and he has been reincarnated. Etheric influence caused Kat to give City Face his old name (hence why she is unable to give a good reason as to why she gave him that name). In other words, those little fairies messed with her brain just to avoid memorizing his new name. I also figured all pigeons are called City Face. They probably find it less confusing. They probably find it more super-awesome than usual. ;D

Also. Guys. Really? City Face is a fun side story. Stop trying to work City Face in as Gunnerkrigg cannon. It was never cannon. -_- Think of it as the actors of a movie doing a short film on the side just for fun during production. It's like The Long and Short of It is to Lord of the Rings.

It's totally rude not to. Where? In the land where human beings like to know that the people around them are paying attention and notice things. It's not that Annie thinks Kat didn't know she got her haircut. What Annie's saying, translated for those of us who find this sort of thing difficult, is:
